Regal as an eagle
Gentle as a dove,
Compassion deeper
Than any ocean
And as high as the clouds above.

Progenitors of generations
Yet to come,
Who nurse and teach
Till their days are done,
And who can deny
That the loving arms of women
Reach out---
To hold up half the sky?

BIOGRAPHY

"Reflections On The Human Condition" is a 65 page collage of original previously unpublished poems by James W. Magill. "Reflections On The Human Condition" examines the status of both the human heart and soul, and it is a testament to the author's will and self-determination. James is currently seeking a publisher for "Reflections On The Human Condition." The poetry of James W. Magill has been recognized by the University of Toledo, the VSA arts Artists Registry (an affiliate of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts), the Pennsylvania Partners in the Arts Project Stream (a Re-grant Program of the Pennsylvania Council in the Arts), and other entities.
